This is the story of my personal challenge to walk 78 miles over two Saturdays in June 2011. My reason for doing this, apart from a strange obsession for walking up hills, is to raise money for WaterAid. Please take a look at their work on http://www.wateraid.org If you feel you would like to support me please donate whatever you can at my fundraising page http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Stu_walks_for_water
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Stuart.

It's checkpoint 4 at 16 miles, 9.15am
Going well so far, beautiful countryside, one very heavy rain
shower so far. Making good time at about 3.25 miles per hour, pretty
happy with that over this countryside.
